Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Smaki mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Smaki provides tools for recipe creation, shopping lists, inventory, and food planning. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Smaki. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. User Content

You are responsible for any recipes, lists, or other content you create in the App.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

3. Credits and Rewarded Ads

3.1 No Purchases

The App is free. There is no subscription and nothing to buy: no credit packs, no paid tier, no unlockable features.

3.2 Credits

Generating a recipe with AI spends credits. New installs start with a balance, and the only way to add more is to watch a rewarded video, subject to a daily limit. Credits have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, refunded, or transferred, and are tied to the anonymous install identifier described in our Privacy Policy. Erasing your data in Settings or removing the App ends that balance.

We may change how many credits an action costs, how many a video grants, and how many videos a day are available. Rewarded videos come from a third-party ad network and can be unavailable for reasons outside our control.

4. AI-Generated Content

The App may generate recipes or suggestions based on your input.

We do not guarantee that any generated content will be accurate, safe, or suitable for your needs. Always review recipes carefully before cooking.

If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions, do not rely on Smaki's AI-generated recipes without independently verifying every ingredient. The App filters out ingredients you have marked as allergens, but that filter is not a medical safeguard. Any figure that appears in generated text is an estimate, and none of it substitutes for medical, nutritional, or dietary advice from a qualified professional.

5. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smaki is not liable for:

• any errors or inaccuracies in recipes
• any damages arising from use of the App
• any food safety or allergy issues
• any reliance on quantities, timings, or other figures in generated recipes
• any reliance on expiry dates you entered, which the App stores and sorts but cannot verify

Use the App at your own risk.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
